Establish Commercial Service

Contact Atlanta Gas Light early in the planning process to avoid costly mistakes due to non-standard meter location, lack of pressure, or any unique needs you may have for natural gas facilities. 

1) To begin the process, contact your area new business representative or call inside sales at 404-584-4653.

2) Next, complete a project data request form, also available online.  Remit the form and two sets of site plans to your new business representative. 

3) After receiving this form, your new business representative will process the project and send you a contract.  Note -- this process may take up to 45 days.  Please allow for this time in your planning.  The contract must be executed and all monies owed must be received by Atlanta Gas Light before construction of the gas facilities can begin.

4) Once these steps have been completed and it is time to initiate natural gas service, please contact a certified natural gas marketer to set up an account and schedule your meter set.
