Tax Credits for Energy-Efficient Appliances
The American Taxpayer Relief Act extends the tax credit of up to $500 for homeowners who install qualified energy-efficient appliances such as high-efficiency furnaces and hot water heaters. This residential tax incentive for existing homes was extended retroactively for 2012 and goes through 2013. Get more information as well as a link to the IRS Residential Energy Credit form.
