ATLANTA – Dec. 19, 2023 – The Georgia Public Service Commission has approved Atlanta Gas Light’s 2024 Georgia Rate Adjustment Mechanism (GRAM) filing for a $52.9 million base rate adjustment, enabling Atlanta Gas Light to ensure safety and reliability while meeting increasing demand.
The approved increase of approximately 6%, or $2.22 a month for a typical residential customer’s bill, is consistent with the 2021 PSC approved i-CDP and GRAM revenue requirement stipulation. New customer rates will take effect Jan. 1, 2024.
The GRAM filing is an annual procedure that incrementally adjusts customer rates up or down based on a comprehensive regulatory review.
“At Atlanta Gas Light, we keep our customers at the center of everything we do,” said Pedro Cherry, president and CEO of Atlanta Gas Light. “We are committed to meeting the growing demand for natural gas in our state safely and reliably, and to delivering superior customer service and value every day.”
