AGL supports homes built by women, for women in Atlanta Women's Build

In 2011, Atlanta Gas Light began supporting the Atlanta Women’s Build, which are homes entirely built by women, for women. Habitat created Women’s Build events in 1991 to provide the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities. Women and children are the most likely segment of the population to be affected by poor living conditions. Last October, Atlanta Gas Light sent a group of women to build homes in Hammond Park as part of our commitment to Habitat Women's Build.
