Teeing Up for Good: Atlanta Gas Light's Charity Golf Tournament provides major support to three Georgia nonprofits

Atlanta – September 4, 2026 – Atlanta Gas Light's 11th annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $250,000 to support three Georgia nonprofits: the American Heart Association, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The funds will help fuel programs and services focused on education, critical health care initiatives and youth development across the state.

Since its inception, Atlanta Gas Light's charity golf tournament has raised a record $2.2 million for nonprofit organizations statewide. This year's event carries added significance as Atlanta Gas Light celebrates 170 years of serving Georgians, highlighting the company's dedication to championing organizations that make a meaningful difference where its customers live and work.

For more than 75 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta has inspired young people across the Central Savannah River Area to reach their full potential, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to succeed. Today, the organization serves youth in five counties through 11 club sites.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Georgia's only freestanding pediatric health care system, is a trusted leader in caring for kids. The nonprofit organization's mission is to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow through more than 60 pediatric specialties and programs, top health care professionals, and leading research and technology.
