Making a Difference Together: Atlanta Gas Light volunteers show their ‘energy to serve’ across neighborhoods in Georgia

Atlanta – June 23, 2025 – Atlanta Gas Light employees are always ready to roll up their sleeves and donate their time, energy, and talents to support and uplift the communities where we live, work, and serve.

Employees’ efforts were recently highlighted during the company’s annual 'Energy to Serve' Month of Service campaign. In May, more than 680 Atlanta Gas Light volunteers partnered with nonprofit organizations, contributing over 1,240 hours of service across neighborhoods throughout Georgia. Team members participated in 66 events, ranging from community enrichment to environmental stewardship projects, demonstrating their commitment to supporting those most in need.

Throughout the month, employees engaged in a variety of activities, including preparing and distributing meals, as well as completing landscaping and gardening projects. Volunteers also collaborated with organizations to engage with students through youth mentorship programs, career development outreach, and career expos, helping to expand educational opportunities for the future generation of workforce talent.
