United Way
Dial 211 to speak with a representative from the Georgia United Way Referral Center to learn about organizations in your area that have available assistance.
LIHEAP
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible customers pay for their heating service through grants that do not need to be repaid. Even if you qualified for LIHEAP last year, you still must reapply. Call 404.657.3426 or 877.423.4746 (option 5)

Customers 65 years of age or older and who have a total annual combined household income of $25,760 or less are eligible for up to a $14 monthly discount on their base charge. Natural gas service must be in the customer's name to be eligible. For additional information, please view this fact sheet (Español). If you qualify, please complete the mail-in application (English & Español).
The SCANA Energy Regulated Division provides service to low-income households who have been unable to obtain or maintain service from another marketer. Qualifying consumers can purchase their natural gas at a rate regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission.
